If you own a Palm OS® Handheld (i.e. Palm™, Handspring™ Visor, Sony CLIÉ™, etc.) and would like to be able to have the Forward Day by Day daily reading on your device, there are two options:

1. For a connected (wireless) Palm™ Handheld (i.e. Palm™ VII, Palm™ with Omnisky, or Palm™ with Palm™ Mobile Internet Kit (MIK), etc.):

2. For a non-connected Palm™ Handheld (all Palm™ Handhelds without direct Internet access):
   Using AvantGo (www.avantgo.com), Forward Day by Day can be available on the Palm™ daily. AvantGo is a free service that lets you sync with Internet content and then take it with you. If you have AvantGo already, simply create a channel to the Forward Day by Day URL (see instructions below) and you will essentially have the same content. If you do not yet have AvantGo, go to the site (located at www.avantgo.com) and set it up first. Again, AvantGo is a free software/service that is considered to among the “must-have” applications for the Palm™.
   
   Instructions for setting up the Forward Day by Day channel on AvantGo (only do this once AvantGo is already installed and setup on the Palm™ device):
   
   Forward Day by Day is not yet an “optimized” channel with AvantGo, but you can still get it in the following way:
   
   

   1. Log into AvantGo.
   2. Click on the "My Account" tab on the upper right hand portion of the screen.
   3. Click on "Create a custom channel" (under "Account Management Tasks" and "Subscriptions").
   4. At "Title", type "Forward Day by Day"
   5. At "Location", paste in the following URL: http://www.forwardmovement.org/palm.cfm
   6. Click on the "Save Channel" button on the bottom of this screen.
   7. Log out; then HotSync®.
   8. Open AvantGo on your Palm. Tap on "Forward Day by Day"
   9. Every time you sync, AvantGo connects to the Internet and gets the latest "Forward Day by Day" as well as any other channels you have subscribed to (they're all free). It's a great way to carry web content with you wherever you go.
