Bo Cox
Bo Don Cox was brought up in Coalgate, Oklahoma, where on the night of July 26, 1986, his life changed dramatically. The events of that night would leave one man dead and another headed on a path to prison, pain, redemption, and release. Sentenced to life for murder, Bo would serve 17 years in an Oklahoma prison before being released on parole on June 12, 2003. Having found hope in his passion for writing--a passion that won him $50 in a writing contest and that found him a published author while still in prison--Bo worked through the drug addictions that had plagued him to an opportunity for a second chance at life.
Bo and his wife, Debb, live in Lexington, Oklahoma. He is working as a recreational counselor in an alcohol and drug treatment center operated by the State of Oklahoma, while pursuing his undergraduate degree in counseling at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
